Trough Farm Accommodation
Trough Farm cottage sleeps 4 comfortably, with 2 extra beds in a mezzanine gallery-room overlooking the main bedroom.
Downstairs there are stone flagged floors throughout, oak beams and original stone fireplaces, whilst upstairs the spacious bedrooms have reclaimed-wooden floors. There are stunning views and occasional beautiful sunsets across the Luddenden valley to the hills beyond from both the lounge and the main bedroom.
The large, high-ceilinged master bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed and an en-suite wet-room. A mezzanine gallery-room above contains futon chairs that can be converted to two single beds.
The second bedroom, overlooking the lawn at the rear of the house, contains twin beds and has an en-suite shower room.
The bedding is all high-quality cotton with feather-down duvets, since we ourselves appreciate the luxury of sumptuous bedding!
The kitchen is fully-equipped to a high standard and has a good-sized fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, microwave and an electric double-oven cooker. The comfortable lounge is equipped with a TV, DVD-player, CD-player and a log/coal burning stove. Logs are provided.
The back-door from the kitchen leads onto a patio garden with table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
Trough Farm is set in 5 acres of untamed hillside which you are welcome to walk around and explore.
There is a good selection of games, books and DVDs for your entertainment.
